1. Aluminum Ingot

Definition: A remelting aluminum ingot produced by electrolysis, serving as the raw material for aluminum processing.

Characteristics: With a purity exceeding 99.7%, it is used as the base material for casting aluminum alloys or wrought aluminum alloys.

Applications: Primarily used for smelting into processed products such as aluminum sheet and coil.

2. Aluminum Sheet

Definition: A flat sheet of aluminum, typically greater than 0.2mm thick.

Processing: Produced through hot rolling or cast rolling, it can be further processed into aluminum coil or foil.

Applications: Construction (roofing materials), electronic housings, and machinery manufacturing.

3. Aluminum Coil

Definition: A rolled aluminum sheet with a thickness ranging from 0.2mm to 10mm.

Characteristics: Categorized by alloy series (1-9), such as 1-series pure aluminum and 3-series moisture-resistant aluminum-manganese alloy.

Applications: Construction (pipeline insulation), packaging, and machinery manufacturing. The surface can be anodized or color-coated. 4. Aluminum Foil

Definition: Aluminum with a thickness less than 0.2mm, typically delivered in coils.

Processing: Through multiple rolling passes, it can be produced in plain, embossed, or composite foils.

Applications: Packaging (food, pharmaceuticals), heat dissipation for electronic components, and battery materials (such as power battery foil).

II. Galvanized/Coated Steel Sheet Series

1. Galvanized Sheet/Galvanized Coil

Definition: Steel sheet with a galvanized surface, available in hot-dip galvanizing and electroplating.

Features: The zinc layer provides electrochemical protection, moderate corrosion resistance, and low cost.

Applications: Construction (sound barriers, roofing), appliance housings, and automotive parts.

2. PPGI (Pre-coated Galvanized Steel Sheet)

Definition: A galvanized sheet substrate coated with an organic coating (such as polyester or fluorocarbon).

Features: Excellent corrosion resistance, a variety of colors, and strong weather resistance (PVDF coating has a lifespan exceeding 20 years).

Applications: Building roofing, appliance housings (air conditioner housings), and rail transit. 3. PPGL (Pre-coated Galvalume Steel)

Definition: Pre-coated steel sheet with galvalume (aluminum-zinc alloy coating) as the base material.

Features: Combining the sacrificial protection of zinc plating with the insulating protection of aluminum plating, it offers improved resistance to high-temperature oxidation.

Applications: Highly corrosive environments (such as chemical industries and coastal construction), and high-end home appliances.
